Welcome: Compelligence is Now CompeteIQ
Welcome to CompeteIQ. Read about our updated competitive intelligence platform.
New challenges, tougher competition and the need for trusted and timely competitive intelligence brings about a time to change. Today is a new day for our company, we have a new name, a new website, and we’re excited to announce what that means for you.
We believe knowing your competition matters more now than ever before. Research from our friends at ProfitWell shows that most companies have over ten competitors by product or service line, and global businesses with multiple product lines have an added dimension of complexity, which can be overwhelming for sales and marketing when differentiating to customers.
Even when your positioning is clear, its also critical to be able to react to your competition in the right way at the right time, which is why we’ve improved. Our promise is to continually innovate our product and services so that you can always stay ahead of your competition.
We are now CompeteIQ:
We have a new name and a new website
through which we are introducing an improved user experience that will
develop into the most intuitive and seamless competitive intelligence
tool for sales in the B2B industry.
With
these changes one thing remains consistent; our founder Ed Allison, who
is one of the most experienced competitive intelligence experts I’ve
ever worked with. Ed and I have built competitive intelligence systems
and processes for over 18 years, and over the last six years, Ed has
been tirelessly developing software to automate what we’ve learned.
We’ve worked with large and small customers and our platform represents
four generations of development and refinement.
Why change? And why now?
Rivalry is intensifying. Most companies are up against more competitors as barriers to entry are lowered and as Geoffrey Moore argues buying power is increasing, see: The Customer is King. Most businesses today are dealing with 10-12 competitors, and this complexity increases with more product lines, vertical markets, and geographies.
This increase in the number of competitors, coupled with ever-increasing demands on sales reps to know their customers better leaves most sales reps with no time to research the competition. In fact, in Salesforce’s recent State of Sales 2018 study, the number one thing reps say they spend too little time on is researching their competition; number two is researching their competitors offers.
This lack of competitive insight can bring unwanted surprises and ultimately leaves sales teams wishing they caught up sooner. And that’s where CompeteIQ comes in. We’ve integrated information about the competition into one place which can be further integrated into Salesforce using our app on AppExchange.
It means you can spend less time digging for the information you need to stay ahead and win. It’s competitive intelligence at your fingertips – meaningful data that you can act on fast. And we’d love to show it to you.
